Chaplaincy Department PDF Print E-mail

Sacho High School is founded on Christian principles. Therefore, it is with this understanding that the Department of Chaplaincy becomes very necessary. The department plays both major and unique roles in developing the moral and spiritual life of the Sacho community. The department ministers to the staff, students and the community at large. The services of this department are very crucial and cannot be overemphasized.

The Bible says: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” (Proverbs 1:7). This means that we must put God first not only in our academic pursuit but also in all our anticipations. God is the Author of every success and prosperity in life. He is the Creator and Sustainer.
Sacho High School aims to produce students that are all-round. The Bible says: “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from God.” (Matt. 4:4). Both academic and material success does not count much in life without spiritual development. An all-round student is one who is developed physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
The Chaplaincy Department has many activities to accomplish.

Some of the major responsibilities include;

  1. Glorifying God in everything
  2. Honouring and worshipping God
  3. Setting a good example in Christian life and Ministry
  4. Building community members in God’s word.
  5. Organizing Christian fellowships.
